Thing Number One: Birdcage veils. I am obsessed. Necessity. I would give up other things to have this and may or may not be planning themes around it. Also, one night last year Josh saw one of these and sheepishly asked if I liked them. When I asked why he said that he really did and thought it seemed like me. Win!
Thing Number Two: Black and White Bridal Party with Sky Blue Accents. Hence the title of the blog. Josh loves black and white weddings. I love blue. Put them together and you get black and white and blue all over :) I love this picture but I would like to have all white flowers with blue wrapping and maybe a blue feather clip in the girls' hair.
Thing Number Three: I love the simple, vintage-y look of this cake. It looks like something a grandma would make, which I love.
Four: Josh and I both love the idea of bird cages for a card box. It really adds to the theme we are building.
Some dresses I like. My favorite is the bottom right hand corner!
Both Josh and I really want to include elements of family. I found this idea of displaying parents' and grandparents' wedding pictures. Probably not this large on the windows, but I definitely want them there!
I like this bouquet if you take out the blue and green stuff in it.
Now you are officially up to date on plans so far. This weekend I am going preliminary dress shopping and to visit a potential reception site. We will see how it goes!

Dresses – (Please keep in mind I am your completely 110% honest friend)
1) I thought it was alright but not right. I do agree that I really liked the back
2) I liked the second out but I agree that a sweethear would look adorable. If you like black and white…maybe a black bow on the back?
3) This one was okay but for some really I feel like the top fits well but then gets really big on the bottom in an odd way
4) This one doesn’t give you any shape and would you get annoyed with the straps being off to the side?
5) I like boring…. And also if you want your vail to be more flashy?
6) I think you could totally pull this off
7) I am not not loving the super form fitted and feel like you could be self-conscious in it since it would show every detail, good and bad.
Places – Brackets is extremely open inside and has a huge dance floor (essential)
Also are you going to do chair covers? Im a huge fan.
Things you love –
1) I am so not surprised about the vail and I think it will look amazing
2) I think the black and white is super classy.

5) These dresses….hmm considering the top right one, I legit ripped that one out of a magazine when another got married for “my wedding” (in 30 years) and am in love with all of them!
6) This is a really cute idea to incorporate your parents. Maybe by including their picture and how they met/engagement story would be cute??
7) The ribbons or feathers (no not legitimate bird feathers) look really cute A friend of mine just did deep purple calla lilies with the stems wrapped in white ribbon and it was adorable.
