This weekend, we had a relaxing night on Friday. Well, kind of. Josh and I made philly cheesesteak sandwiches, then went out looking for a suit for me since interview season is coming up. First we went to Old Navy and we got a few new things (I finally got the black jeans I have been wanting forever!). Then we went to Macy's. I tried on almost every suit they have in the store, with no luck. There were three suits that I liked. The first had pants that didn't fit me. The second had very thin, unattractive pants (that also didn't fit me). The third was missing the pants, and they refused to sell me the jacket alone. Ugh!

So we went to The Limited. I hadn't been there for years, but I was willing to give it a try. I liked the jacket there, but the pants were yucky. I just don't like when pants feel super thin, they just feel cheap to me. As a last ditch effort, we tried New York and Company. I have been trying suits on at New York and Company for years and never found one that I liked, so I did not have high hopes going in. I ended up finding TWO suits that I liked. Woooo!
On Saturday morning, we drove over to Long Lake to try to look at an apartment. The landlord ended up not showing up, there were many "junker" cars in the parking lot, and the building was not kept up very well. We decided to abandon this place. On to the next...
Then we drove down to Marshall for Callahan's birthday party. Can't believe the little guy is already two.

After Cal's birthday party, we drove back to Savage for my dad's 50th birthday party. It was a long drive, but I'm glad we made it.

I kind of feel like I am getting sick. I have been exhausted all week and just can't seem to get enough sleep. I am trying desperately to catch up because I leave for Vegas in a week. Hopefully I can shake this!
I forgot to take a picture of it, but I tried something new tonight. I cut a banana in half and sprinkled a few chocolate chips, mini-marshmallows, and some cinnamon on it then microwaved it for a minute. Delish!
